July 7, 200322 yr Hey guys,I've been flying the bird for a while now and I've been experimenting something. It had come to my attention that time was not really reflected well on the clock you'll find in the approach view. PMDG has said they will put in a 'decent' clock but for now I have a solution for all persons who are owner of the 767PIC product. The good thing is that it fits in very well.(see pic, though in latest version it's more stretched on the Y-axis to furthermore cover the panel print. Just see the Screenie so you'll know what I'm talking about.http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/21894.jpgUnfortunately I find it is not my right to publish parts of cfg's here as I think that would violate some copyrights I accepted by purchasing both products. I can however provide a small tutorial.First off:*EDIT* Thorough knowledge of the operation of the 767PIC clock is required.BUG REPORTS: do not send them, if it doesn't work, then you did something wrong, recheck my instructions.KNOWN ISSUES: * when the planes 'panel lights' are ON, the clock tends to disappear. to regain some function, press the CHR button(left top) 3 times.* sometimes no 'hand' pointer appears... ignore it, the clicking will workNow,To start: BACKUP YOUR EXISTING CONFIGURATION FILES(the panel.cfg located in the pmdg737-700's panel and panel.vc folder)STEP1:Open the panel.cfg file in a text editor such as wordpad. STEP2:locate the "approach view panel" this should be window03STEP3:scroll till you see gauge10 appear. Now put 2 slashes in front ("//") => "//Gauge10...."STEP4:Below the 'inactivated' line of gauge10 put the following "gauge10=B767Wclock,305,663,123,126"STEP5:Save the file and do the same for the panel.cfg in the panel.vc folderThat's it, enjoy flying!
