July 7, 200322 yr Guys,Hi. I have one question.I use a reduced ClB setting of 1 or 2 most of the timne. As I understand, once the a/c reaches an altitude of 15,000 feet in its climb, it reverts to full CLB setting. But on the EICAS it continues to show R-CLB.Any comments? Is it a mistake? Thanks and once again....LOVE THE 737 :)Dinshaw.
July 7, 200322 yr Dinshaw,It's just a display thingie. The reduced thrust does gradually increase until reaching the full climb thrust at 15000I have to remember correcting the display thingie :-)anthonyAnthony MertonPrecision Manuals Developmenthttp://www.precisionmanuals.com
July 7, 200322 yr Author Anthony,Thanks a ton for the reply. Great to hear you will rectify this :)Lol,Dinshaw.P.S. My last post regarding the underspeed/overspeed warning light on the MCP. I mentioned I get it while retracting the flaps from 5 to 1 on the ground while vacating the runway. Goes off when I disengage FD's. Any news if you are looking into this? Is the air-ground switch modelled on the aircraft? Thanks Anthony. LOl.
