September 4, 200322 yr I'm confused by the difference in the max takeoff weight shown in the load manager:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/35092.jpgAnd the max gross weight shown in FS9.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/35094.jpgIs there really a 20000 lb difference between max gross and max takeoff? Here's the excerpt from aircraft.cfg:[WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE]reference_datum_position= 52.730, 0.000, 2.120empty_weight_CG_position=-48.170, 0.000, 0.000max_number_of_stations=50empty_weight=83000.000empty_weight_roll_MOI=1411540.000empty_weight_pitch_MOI=1821510.000empty_weight_yaw_MOI=1518876.000empty_weight_coupled_MOI=230.000//station_load.0=28480.000, -48.350, 0.000, 1.050//max_gross_weight=153500.000CG_forward_limit=0.133CG_aft_limit=0.330
September 4, 200322 yr I know what you mean. I wanted to do a flight KPHX to KEWR with the 700. I wanted to take 41000lbs (about 25000lbs for trip and the rest for various other things) of fuel but to do that I would only be able to take about 30 pax and a small amount of cargo. I think that MAX 133000lbs number is wrong.......I looked on Boeing's site and found that its actually 154500lbs (one thousand lbs more than in the FS9 fuel and payload screen). Funny thing is that the aircraft.cfg reflects the correct number. Its just the load manager that is incorrect. So I just use the load manager to load up and I ignore that max number. I work with 153500lbs instead.
