Hey guys,I have a problem: Always when I'm entering my Position in ICAO Code, just after electric system was established, the same airport I entered (with the prefered runways) is nearly 20-40 km away from me (watched at the PND).Whats wrong? Any ideas? The things i did:1) Established electrical system for fmc usage2) Opened up the fmc3) Checked the first fmc page with navdata versions4) Opened up the pos init page5) entered REF AIRPORT: for example: EDDF6) Looked at the Navigation Display: The Airport was shown 30 Miles away from me!I use the latest SID/STARS Collection and the AIRAC Cycle of September 2003.Any help? Hi, Jens.Your problem may be related to a faulty database, especially if your airport is in the UK. Otherwise it is probably that your computer is set up for use in Europe, where they use comma's instead of full stops (periods) for decimals. See previous forum messages on how to set up your PC using Windows Start/Settings/Control Panel/Regional&LanguageOptions....Cheers.Ian.
