I am just wondering what these things do. I have seen people say for better frame rates to turn off AA and AF and to reduce mip mapping. But I have no idea what they do to begin with. Any help?BRad

AA - Anti-Aliasing. This basically means that lines that are curvers are drawn as curves, and not as blocky pixels.AF - Ansisoscropic Filtering. This sharpens your textures.Mip Mapping - Not sure...To help you optimize your system, it is beneficial to know what kind of video card you have, and what kind of system you have.

I have a pentium 2.4 ghz, 756 RDRAMM, and a Radeon ATI 9600 Pro 256 MB card.

Sorry, I can't help you with ATI cards because I don't have one. Hopefully someone else can step up and help you :(
