A little problem in FS9...please help

Featured Replies

First off, let me say with my new RAM (756 MB) and my new Video card, ATI 9600 Pro 256mb, FS9 is AMAZING!! My flights are smooth as silk and frames are good. I can actually fly now!! Yet i am running into a problem when trying to fly online. When I minimize the screen to run SB's main program, when trying to re-maximize (Alt'enter) the mouse cursor just flickers and the screen flickers. This has happened 3 out of the 4 online flights I have tried. I did it before my system upgrade and it happened, and after. Any ideas? Any screen I bring up after just will come up, then when i try to minimize it, it will stay on the screen. Ideas?Brad Z

Hmmm, this is a problem I noticed before when using the Cat 3.7's. I was hoping it would be fixed in newer driver versions. But I always play in Full Screen mode and have not tried going from Full Screen mode to Windowed mode since I noticed the problem way back, not even with the 3.8's installed. May I suggest that you just leave FS2004 in Full Screen mode at all times. To get to your desktop and then back to FS2004 simply use ALT-TAB. Somtimes when using ALT-TAB while at the desktop FS2004 may not show up as an available selection. In that case just use your mouse and click on the FS2004 button that is on the taskbar. Another way to get out of FS2004 while in Full Screen mode is to use CTRL-ESC.Hope that helps,Jim
