November 8, 200322 yr Help!I keep crashing back to the Windows desktop when flying any of the PMDG 737s. It typically happens suddenly, with no particular input or action. I can fly for quite some time before this happens, at random times, but it always happen, sooner or later. The longest flight so far, was apprx. 20 minutes. For several days I have tried now to complete at least one whole flight with these lovely aircraft, but no success:(. Sooner or later I get kicked back to desktop. This does not occur with any of the default aircraft. Sometimes I get a bluescreen with an errormessage, but this is not unique to 737NG, that sometimes happens with the default aircraft as well. But with the NG I just end up at the desktop, no error-message or bluescreen.I run Windows XP SP1, FS9, 737NG with SU 1-1, updated AIRAC, SIDSTARS etc.The PC is a 2600+ Athlon/NF7 with 1Gb Corsair select DDR RAM and lots of free HD-space. Graphics adapter is the Hercules Radeon 8500LE 64Mb. I use the latest drivers endorsed by ATI (Cat 3.9), tried others, but no sucess with those either. I have also tried running at different resolutions, but no luck. I use the same res. on both desktop and FS. The monitor is a Dell 21" flatscreen. Have tied to reduce hardware acceleration, sound quality etc., but no difference. Also tried fail-safe BIOS-settings etc., no luck.I am now really at my wits end, and in very low spirits. Can anybody help me, please?Regards, Morten Kielland
November 8, 200322 yr OK, I think I've found something! The session I used for flying the NGs was set to current date, November 5th (that's when I started). The other sessions - when using the default planes - were set in other seasons, mostly in summer. The CDTs only occur when flying in the autumn!Very strange ...! A(nother) bug in FS9?Anyway, I've just completed my first, smooth, flawless flight in the NG and am VERY pleased!!!Thanks for the help I didn't get! Maybe this information could be of some use to others.Regards, Morten Kielland
