November 11, 200322 yr Hiya,Just a few questions if you don't mind!!!1) Config warning bell: Sounds continuousley when the engines are off, but is cut off when the engines are running. How do I fix this?2) 2500 callout does not play. How can I get it working?3)How can I increase the volume of the overspeed tone, I can barely hear it!Other than that it is without a doubt the best sound package. Ever. And I mean it!!!Now, Autothrust. I have read the manual and nowhere can I see any explination. Can someone tell me how the speed changes automaticaly? Alpha protection and flap retraction confuses me in particular. The speed bug seems to adjust itself when the flaps are retracted. As for alpha protection I don't have a clue how this works!!!Lastly, stalling. Why on earth does this thing stall so badly? How do I get out of it?Anyway, that said, this is the best thing on the market atm. Thanks for any replies.Richard

I have read the manual and nowhere can I see any explanation. Can someone tell me how the speed changes automaticaly?"The FMC or Autopilot tells the Autothrottle computer the thrust/mode requirements and the A/T computer sends electrical signals to the motors under the thrust levers. This pushes the thrust levers forwards/backwards and the engines respond accordingly."Alpha protection and flap retraction confuses me in particular. The speed bug seems to adjust itself when the flaps are retracted."Alpha protection simply stops your aircraft going below a certain airspeed to prevent you stalling. Your aircraft will stall at different speeds depending on airspeed/AOA/aircraft configuration (flaps/gear/spoilers), etc. The A/T knows this and adjusts the cut-in speed for alpha protection accordingly. The A/T also knows at what speed your aircraft will be damaged (for a particular aircraft configuration) and limits the speed accordingly."Lastly, stalling. Why on earth does this thing stall so badly? How do I get out of it?"A MSFS limitation, I hear. Push stick forward and apply thrust (or vice versa... can't remember which one... I'm not a pilot ;-)).Any help?Cheers.Ian.
