November 12, 200322 yr Since FS2004's ATC is not limited to one runway pair, unlike FS2002, the number of SIDs and STARs that you can effectively use has more or less exploded. In FS2002 for each route I had one FMC route with always the same SID and STAR and an ATC flight plan along the same route, including the SID and STAR bit.Since ATC now has much more choice in designating runways, making any number of ATC flight plans to include all possible SID and STAR routings is not a viable option. How do you guys handle this? Start the ATC flight plan at the beginning of the airway part of the route? Or is there a simple way to turn an FMC routing into an ATC flight plan?I would appreciate any input on this. Thanks,Leo BakkerBTW, isn't it sad that for every add-on you have to have a different set of SID's, STAR's and FMC flight plans? Wouldn't it be a good idea if there were some kind of industry standard?
