Autobrakes failed

Featured Replies

Hello,A while ago I was flying in to land, can't remember which airport off the top of my head, and I was on autoland. Everything went smooth and the plane made a nice touchdown. I applied the thrust reversers but I then noticed that the autobrakes were not working. The switch had turned itself off. Now I know I had turned them on but for some reason they turned themselves off. I was coming in to an airport in iceland last night and the same thing happened. I touched down, the autobrakes turned themselves off and despite me clicking on them, the lever would not move back to the 1 or 2 position. This has only happened twice out of a lot of successful flights but it lead me to wonder why this happened. Is there any sort of fail state in the code that would cause the autobrakes to disconnect themselves? Thanks for the help.Ryan Winterbourne

Ryan -I dimly recall this happening once in a while in the SU 1-1 patch(I could be wrong...), but I am not seeing this behavior in SU2 so I don't think you will have this problem in the future.Sorry I can't be of more help :(
