NO SID/STARS for EGKK

Featured Replies

oK This problem ive seemed to have for ages now. I was departing from Gatwick north to EGPF gLASGOW AND when I wanted to add a SID to RWy 26L their were none avaliable. However if I use FSBUILD Im able to create a full flight with FULL sids a stars made available to me. However was Build HAS SAVED THIS PLAN IF i GET INTO fs2004 and the ATC RESTRICTIONS DECIDE TO SEND ME ANOTHER WAY THERE IS NOW WAY i CAN CHANGE this SID that I have created in FSBUILD because under EGKK and RWY 26L there are NONE avaliable to use :( :( :(ANY ideas would be greatly appreciatedJuan Garcia-Mendez

Do you have the SID/STAR database installed? If you do, then the reason you don't have a SID/STAR procedure installed for that airport is that DAFIF didn't provide data for that airport(the procedures are based off of DAFIF data), and you will have to go to a place like www.navdata.at and download custom procedures(once they open up again). Also, you should be aware of something. Some airports(KBOS I think is one of them) doesn't have SID/STARs either, with good reason. All of the SID/STARS(like the LOGAN2 dep) are radar vectors. So that might explain why that airport doesn't have any SID/STARs. I am not familiar with the airport, so I don't know if this is the case.

Juan,I can confirm that Simon's Gatwick SIDS/STARS work a treat, it's my home base and I know the place intimately :)If you still have problems let me know.
