Missing Menus!!!

Featured Replies

This has happened the last few times I've flown the PMDG 737. I'll be near the end of my flight and the menu at the top of FS9 disappears, except for the last two, "PMDG" and "Modules". I try to select these menus using keyboard commands, but to no avail. I just get a system beep.Has anyone else experienced this? I did a complete re-install, but no luck.Any ideas?

Hmmmm, well sounds like a system crash (If you list your pc spec it would be usefull)Did you install su1.1 full? + with the correct box ticked for fs9? Assuming the setup was done properly, are you using directx version 9B? If not I recomend upgrading it to 9B. (also in windows click on start bar then run and type "dxdiag" without the quotes! and run the tests on the various pages to see if you have any compatability issues!)Does the problem happen with the default ac?Also make sure you have the latest drivers for sound card video card etc.More importantly are you using any other 3rd party software with pmdg, like weather programs (active sky etc) some of these could cause undesireble effects! even certain scenery can cause problems. If you do have 3rd party software installed try to disable these and see if the problem dissapears if it does then try them 1 by 1 to see which one was causing the problem.Hope this gives you a few ideas to start with,Good luckMark.

Sounds like you have swapped between Full screen and windowed mode and used the kneeboard (open during switch), happend to me a couple of times, the kneeboard is open in behind and you can't do anything but get the system beeb. Try alt tab to see if you can get the kneeboard visible to close it.Mads
