December 10, 200322 yr Greetings!Warning: I've had nearly 24 hours of experience with the PMDG 737, so if any of you think I don't know what I'm talking about ... you're probably right! :}Seriously, I just purchased and installed this aircraft and so far I'm extremely impressed. What a difference between this and the stock MSFS 737 I'm used to. It's obviously going to take me a while (and a lot of reading) to fullly become comfortable flying her, but I've taken her up already on a couple very short flights and now have a few initial questions. Perhaps one of you can give me a little guidance.First, a "non-flight" question. How do you extend the outside stairs? I'm guessing that you must select one of the "with stairs" model in the FS menu (which I've done), and I know about SHIFT-E to open the door, but that's about as far as I can get. Door opens ...no stairs. Not a big thing, but I saw it one of the online screen shots and would like to try it out.Secondly, an FMS question. I've been reading the manual, but haven't quite yet figured out how to program it. So to start, I'm working my way through the basics, beginning with how to enter the origin and destination. The problem is that no matter which origin or destination airport ID I attempt to enter (exmaple: KMHT or KBOS), it says "Not In Database". Am I doing something wrong or is there something else I need to install or add? Finally, I haven't yet been able to get the A/P to fly an approach. I tune the NAV to the correct ILS frequency and (I believe) I'm activating it correctly, but the aircraft just flys right by it. If it makes a difference, I have the most-recent (3.129) version of FSUIPC (registered). My guess is though the problem is with the captain, not the DLL. :(Thanks in advance for your help.- TomTom TownsendSystem:Win XP Pro / SP1P4 3.2 1GBATI 9800XT Cat 3.9 Drivers

Then press the APP button(or LOC for just LOC capture). If I may recommend, try Tim Metzingers(sp is probably wrong) tutorial, or my tutorial. That shoulg give you some help :)
