Just a question and possibly stimulate some debate..why use track up?.. Personally I favour HDG as primary reference as it means I always know where I am pointed and from the very earliest days of flying we are taught teh relationship of HDG to WIND to TRK. Just not sure if teher is a valid argument for change for the sake of change. It si also easier IMVHO to fly a track line onto a bearing into and out of an NDB which is where the track line really comes into it's own.PMDG, question for you is.. might we have it as a selectable option please?I ask from a purely selfish point of view, I use your fabulaous sim for training for the real world and my company flies HDG up :)Just a thought,Brad Marsh

On the EFIS, It is heading up, And on the ND, you read track up.

Hi Jim,Roger that, it is a customer selectable option from the factory.. and can be changed by engineering. I am curious as to why PMDG went with TRK Up and if they could consider making it selectable in the sim.Picky aren't I :DBrad Marsh
