December 13, 200322 yr A friend commented that he couldn't enter long /lat entries into the FMC. Not the SID STAR files.I have had a play with it and some work and some don't (Not in database message). I have looked both at posts in this forum on the subject, and in the Bill Bulfer FMC Guide for help. The forum seems to suggest entering a 13 character code, whereas the FMC guide gives five character examples (Which work). The test I have been trying to do is enter TABLY (Near EGCC UK) into the FMC using long lat data. This is shown on the Honily SID if that helps. On the SID it is shown as 531619N 0022702W.My flightsim International settings are: Lat = Northern Long = WesternI would appreciate knowing the format to enter this into the Legs or route page. Also, does the NAVDATA Airac affect all this, as I'm sure it contains errors. Many thanksGeoff
