I'm trying to do the tutorial found on Avsim, but after setting up the FMC the ATC doesn't recognize the flightplan. The tutorial makes reference to the ATC instructing him based on the flightplan, but I don't even receive the option to file. What am I missing?Tim

The ATC "instructions" given in the tutorial are not given by FS ATC. They are imaginary instructions that set up the next step in the tutorial.

Ahh, ok. So the only way for planning the flight is to plan with the default planner or fsnav and then upload that plan into the FMC? That seems to make a bit more sense.
