Trim settings before takeoff

Recommended Posts

Guest Andrea

Dear all,I don't find any instruction about how to set trimmer to the value indicated in the FMC TAKEOFF REF page at TRIM filed (eg. 5.50). I do not know how to adjust the trim. What am I missing?I've just finished a flight around London Heathrow airport (EGLL), fling by an FMC flight plan (EGLL 09R takeff, SID DET, STAR BIGGIN, EGLL 09R ILS landing) and everything went well: takeoff, climb, cruise (at 9900 feet), descent, approach (speed reduction, flaps extention, etc.), ILS interception and landing. The aircraft and its avionics are simply fantastic!!!Nothing comparable with other FS addon aircrafts!!!Three steps beyond all the other!!!:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) Many many complimentsBest regardsAndrea

Andrea,You can use the FS keys for trim(7 and 1 on the keypad I think) to adjust the trim. Look at your throttle console and you can see on each side of the throttle assembly that there is a gauge that shows trim position. Use that to guide your adjustments :)
