June 30, 200223 yr Is it possible to create adventures in FS2002 given that no Adventure SDK has been released for 2002?If so, what programs do I need for the job?
June 30, 200223 yr FS2002 will run FS2000 adventures, but it may need FSUIPC depending on what variables you plan to use.Stop by fsadventures.net and check out the Developers page for some good tips and links & recommended reading to make your own adventures.Look forward to seeing (and hearing) the fruits of your labour!Cheers,Fermin Fernandezhttp://fsadventures.net
June 30, 200223 yr As well as what Fermin said, there is one really kludgy thing about running adventures in FS2K2. MS, for whatever reason, turns off ATC when running an adventure. There's nothing you can do about it. When the ATC is turned off, the AI traffic simply carries out whatever was their last instruction then stops. So if aircraft have been told to taxi to a runway, there they'll stay, forever. Landing traffic will never land, flying traffic will fly off into the sunset. And FS will eat memory and bog down frame rates quickly. It's a bad thing when adventures are run. So you might wish to keep that in mind.
