Hello, I am a new user of fs software even though I hold a commercial licence. Can anyone help me with this question. I can program the 737ng fmc for sid/stars proceedures but how do I get atc in 2004 to recognize this and give appropriate vectors etc????? thanks :-)

Rob: MS ATC does not include departure and arrival procedures (SIDs/STARs). They'll give you vectors in but they won't match the published charts that fsbuild2 and our FMC have. There are some posts in this forum discussing this; if you do an advanced (maybe it's called Extended) search for a subject with ATC in the PMDG forum. Make sure you search subject-field only or you'll get too much stuff back. Good luck.

You will need a flight plan builder. I use FSBuild, but there are others. Search in this forum and the MSFS General forum and you should find all the info you need.
