Autobrakes RTO

Featured Replies

Hi Guys. Before T/O I set the Autobrakes to RTO.However, once airbone they won't kick back to the OFF position.Anyone else having this problem? Any solution? I know a friend whos using FS2002 and is not having this problem. :(Bruno Francescoli.

Bruno,This is absolutely correct. The AUTOBRAKE switch has no electromechanical doohicky to make the switch move. That job is up to the pilots :) However, once airborne the RTO position is disabled, meaning that the autobrake turns itself off, in a manner of speaking. I am not well versed on this...;)

Thank you Fred!Sorry about that, I though they were electromechanical doohicky to make the switch move back to the OFF Position.Bruno Francescoli.
