March 21, 200422 yr With MSFS standard aircraft it is possible to save and subsequently load the state of flights. This makes it convenient to do such things as to practice repeated takeoffs or landings or other maneuvers, as well as to resume a long flight at a later time, even after previously exiting the sim.PMDG aircraft lack this capability, primarily due I assume to the proprietary nature of the PMDG autopilot and related systems and controls. In my opinion this is a significant deficiency.I hope the folks at PMDG are addressing this problem. If so can we expect a save/load capability any time in the near future?Regards,Sandy
March 21, 200422 yr That's what I mentioned some months ago, but they did not address this problem. It would be a nice feature, but they would have to store the content of each and every variable in a seperate file --> lot of work I guess.I heard that FS2004 doesn't notifiy Addons when saving a situation. But for me, it would also be ok to save the 737NG-status manually. But if the OS doesn't crash (like Win98), it should be possible to complete a flight, just take yourself some time on a boring sunday afternoon :-)MalteEDDH
