Adding BBJ fuel tanks to the 737-7NG

Recommended Posts

Hi all,Could anyone please tell how I can add the necessary extra tanks to the standard 737-700NG in order to convert it into a BBJ? I know I can, and have reduced the pax figures using the loadmanager. Thanks in advance,ChrisEGKK

Hmm, thats actually a lot tougher then it sounds ...Best you can do is fake it until they add the extra toys on the BBJ (if they do) by cranking up the center tank capacity by another 26,000 pounds ... no idea how happy the center of gravity will be with that as the various tank options on the BBJ are in the forward and aft cargo areas (I think up to 9 tanks total). You could also load 26,000 pounds of cargo, then when the center tank level dropped to 2,000 pounds left, you kick out the cargo and top up the center tank.Without the electronics and bleed systems, manual invervention is about the best you can do.Ray
