No "auto speedbrakes armed" indication on 800/900?

Hi folks. Just installed the great new 800/900 this morning and took a quick VFR flight around the pattern at BFI. One thing I noticed, "shift + /" seems to arm the auto speedbrakes (they deploy when I land) but the indicator light on the console does not illuminate when I arm them on approach and the speedbrakes lever on the throttle panel does not move to the "armed" positon.Any ideas? This worked correctly on the 600/700. I just took another flight around in the 700, and actually it looks like it's not just an indication problem, but the speed brakes don't seem to deploy until the thrust reversers are deployed...is this correct? I was under the impression they deploy upon touch down.So it appears that pressing shift + / isn't working for me...anyone else seeing this? Thanks,
