For those with engine failures at V1

Featured Replies

The failures are very random for me, I've only had three failures at V1 out of about twenty takeoffs, none of them consecutive. I always save my last flight and resume using my last flight as the default. I've had two occasions where I'd hear the engine failure when the flight is loading. Each time I have found that if I go into the Failures menu under Aircraft (not the PMDG menu) that the boxes are checked under failed for both engines. If I reset the failures I'm able to restart the engines and resume the flight without further problems. This may not work for everyone, but it's a lot better then the restarts and reboots that some folks are doing.Hope this helps,BrianKRNT
