May 7, 200422 yr Hi, I have noticed a caution alarm indicating Air Cond, looking at the owverhead panel I see on the Cabin Pressurization Panel an amber warning (2nd left) something like "OFF SHED DESCENT" could you explain:a. What it is?B. How to clear it/avoid it?After an engine failure at V1, I have now completed Tutorial 2 by Tim Metzinger in the updated 737 700.Thanks for a great productTerry
May 7, 200422 yr This was covered in another thread down somewhere last week I think - and I can't do it justice. Do a search on this forum with "pressure" as the keyword, and there's a full explanation of how the system works on the plane, and why you get that warning.
May 7, 200422 yr Hi Terry,The 'OFF SCGHED DESC' illuminates to alert you that you did not reach the CRZ alt selected in the presurrisation panel. Say you are climbing to planned FL280 and you level off for some reason at FL230 and then descend (more than 1000') the light will illumintae. The quick fix is to reset the pressurisation panel to an alt lower than that at which you currently are.Brad Marsh
