50% less FPS just by turning the landing lights.

Hi All,Is everyone else experiencing this? (see pics and the fps).I know my videocard should be the culprit, but until I get the new RADEON X800 XT :+ is there anything I can do about it?I'm using the -800 winglet 2D only Varig Livery, and without LL(landing lights) I run pretty steady at 24-30FPS. Just by turning LL on, the FPS drops to 12.Looking for a good tweak... hehehe. Thanks in Advancehttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/74989.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/74990.jpg

Most lights to video cards require more rendering so frame rate could go down, but will usually go up. I also have a nVidia GeForce 5200 and when I'm on the spotplane view and turn the lights on, my fps lower a bit but slowely go back up. A new video card should solve your problem (soon I'll be needing one myself but spent all my money on upgrading my PC)Nick B.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg--AMD Athlon XP 3200+ @ 2.25 Ghz (405 mhz FSB)Soyo VIA KT600 Dragon PlusnVidia GeForce FX 5200 128 mb2 x 512 PC400100 GB Western DigitalMicrosoft Sidewinder Precision 2
