Hello,i would like to know how you guys fill in the fuel calculator. How do you know how much reserve ,taxi,holding,etc...let's say i am flying from brussels to copenhagen ,more or less 300 nm.my derate airport would be,let'say Amsterdam.how much reserve do i need etc...?thanks for your answers.olivier sinnaeve,Brussels

The answers to all these questions are in the aircraft manuals provided by PMDG.Taxi fuel is generally considered to be 500 lbsReserve fuel is a personal preference, usually no less than 2000 lbsHolding fuel depends on howlong you figure on holding (FAA standard is 45 minutes which on the -700 = approx. 4000 lbsAdd to these sufficient fuel to reach your alternate (this figure will be distance dependent) and perhaps a few extra pounds to be safe. Note your fuel flow figures at cruise on a few flights and you will develop a feel for fuel needed.Roger Curtiss
