APU and BARO MODE

Why the APU don't use fuel of both tanks? In BARO MODE ( radio altimeter), i don't have altitude indicator in my altimeter.what poblem in APU and Baro MODE?

"Why the APU don't use fuel of both tanks?"The PMDG team originally programmed the NG this way, but the logic was creating serious problems in other areas of the fuel system. These problems, I recall, would have taken too long to fix (and the fans/customers were getting restless). It was a lot easier for PMDG to remove the APU from the fuel system. This is not unlike the real world. When a new aircraft system proves to be too unreliable (causing aircraft delays) and too costly to repair, it is sometimes removed. Passengers and flight crew are much happier as a result."In BARO MODE ( radio altimeter), i don't have altitude indicator in my altimeter."I think you may have to explain a bit more. RADIO mode uses the Radio Altimeter. BARO mode doesn't. If there is no digital display for either mode, you may have to turn the knob clockwise.Hope this helps.CheersIan. P.S. You must put your name at the end of your message (Forum regulations)

The Baro mode altimeter displays at the set altitude in the altimeter, if it is set to say 200' it will place the line at 200'. If you are landing at an airfield with an altitude of 600' you will not see the line. In this case you would need to set BARO to 800' to get a 200' AGL line.hope this helps, Nick>In BARO MODE ( radio altimeter), i don't have altitude>indicator in my altimeter.

Sorry for the late response....I now understand your problem, but I am unable to duplicate it. I am running the new patch however. Have you tried it?Cheers.Ian.
