May 19, 200422 yr I have noticed a couple of things that are a bit odd...1) After I park the aircraft and switch off all the power I save the flight but when I next log in the cockpit is powered up.2) The 'fuel used' switch does not show anything. Pressing it down makes the indicators disappear in the fuel flow gauges but it does not change the reading on the fuel quantity gauges...these continue to display the fuel remaining. And I am being careful not to flip the switch to 'reset' before attempting the fuel used reading.Also...just as a comment...it would be nice to be able to have a clock display visible when in cockpit 'M' or 'Z' mode. Seeing the expected passage time for a waypoint on the Nav screen is helpful but having the current time displayed at the same time would allow for some easier planning of how long from now that time is.Roger Curtiss
May 19, 200422 yr Hello RogerYeah this is MSFS. Create a flight with a default aircraft, the Cessna 182 is perfect. Once in the cockpit turn off the lights and electrics (not the avionics though, the 737NG does not have an avionics switch, leave it on). Save it as your default flight, this should fix it. As far as I know there is no way to load the aircraft with the fuel levers down (cut).>1) After I park the aircraft and switch off all the power I>save the flight but when I next log in the cockpit is powered>up.I have found the fuel used function only works if I have set up the FMC correctly for flight. It displays on the fuel flow gauges not on the tank gauges.>2) The 'fuel used' switch does not show anything. And I>am being careful not to flip the switch to 'reset' before>attempting the fuel used reading. One of the costs of accurate modeling of the aircraft I suppose. I tend to use the distance to next waypoint and compare it with my ground speed, ie 200Nm and 460kts GS, about 26 minutes or so>Also...just as a comment...it would be nice to be able to have>a clock display visible when in cockpit 'M' or 'Z' mode. cheers, Nick
May 19, 200422 yr clock display is no problem...just click with your mouse on "c" (in the letter row where you click to open the other panels like overhead...the c is on the righthand side) and the clock comes up.Stefan Bergert
May 19, 200422 yr You only have 'C' if you have the 800/900 package, which is an extra purchase. If you have only the base package you cannot.cheers, Nick
May 19, 200422 yr When I'm using the chronometer, if I use time compression the chronometer doesn't speed up with the compression. It stays with real time. I'd like to have it stay in time with tim compression. Is there away to change it?
