Slow response

Featured Replies

Just curious, when making adjustments to land with PMDG 737-700, why is it that the thing seems real sluggish? Not in frame rates (3 Gigs of ram fixed that), but the aircraft itself just seems to have a slow response time to steering while in low speed flight, I'm talking, 140 knots, flaps 30 and gear down, just making the final approach through STARS or something simple. And another question, I am getting very comfortable with VATSIM, and have one online flight under my belt, however, still flying with FS9's ATC sometimes, and do A LOT of visual approaches in the PMDG 737. It seems no matter what direction, or speed the wind is comming from, when landing, I have to really fight the thing to center it on the runway, I usually end up landing on the Right side of the centerline, but I mean it is a fight, keeping the AOA is easy, just a constant battle with the rudder and yoke control. Is that normal? The landing off center is also noticed quite often with an ILS when both NAVS are even tuned.Thanks.Miklos

Have you checked your controls for accuracy and calibrated them? The PMDG bird is a dream to handfly and this is the first complaint I've heard....John http://homepage.eircom.net/~eamonnmca/images/logo_ba.JPGwww.bavirtual.co.uk Senior Captain Simflight.com Staff Reviewer
