June 15, 200421 yr Gents,Two questions on the topic of a Reversed Flight planned in the FMC.1) - Is there any data on the FMC where I could gather the VOR frequencies?2) - On arrival, the FMC did not accept the ATC runway! Every time a message said "Program Error"! After a few attempts - even for other RW's - the FMC crashed, the Legs disappeared and I was left "alone".Is this a known problem or just a coincidence? Thanks,BPilot
June 15, 200421 yr Answer to 1 is yes. Press INIT REF, then INDEX and then NAV DATA.Type ident of navaid in the scratchpad, then LSK top right. FMC will then display freq, type and LAT/LON of navaid. If more than one with the same ident, you`ll see a list, top one is the one closest to your own position. Not sure about your second question, could be that your AIRAC data is corrupt, does the RWY show if you`re not using ATC?Cheers,Kjell.
June 15, 200421 yr Thanks for the tip, Kjell,I'll re-do the flight tonight and see if it behaves the same. Maybe it was just an accident.By the way, your name must be Scandinavian...Cheers from BrazilBPilot
June 15, 200421 yr Indeed I`m scandinavian, from Norway. Was thinking about your reverse flight, did you hit reverse on the FMC after you had loaded departure and arrival runway on the outward flight?I never fly with ATC myself, only use real world flight plans, and MS ATC doesn`t handle that too well, so I am always my own ATC :-)Cheers,Kjell.
June 21, 200421 yr Thanks, Kjell.Yours was a good question, and I'm not sure if I loaded the Dep/Arr before hitting reverse. I tried it again and it worked without any problems. Must have been myself.Enjoy your Summer!BPilot
June 21, 200421 yr Sergio, glad to hear that it`s working OK for you now.You too have a nice summer, I am still waiting for it to come to Bergen!Cheers,Kjell.
