I've done something absolutely strange...

Hi,some of you might know, that I am constructing a 737NG flightdeck. I would like to use the PMDG 737NG as aircraft. Well, I wanted to find out how realistic PMDG converted the parameters. So I took a cockpit-DVD last night and selected a flight, where all the important data was visible prior to the flight. That means, passenger- and cargoweight, fuel, runway and so on...I noted all the data and implemented it into the PMDG.Next I carefully watched the takeoff at the DVD. Well, V1, VR, climbrate, climbrate at VNAV-engaged, speedlimits and so on...Aditionally I took the time from "start rolling" to VR etc.(That means, when does the pilot set N1, when is he doing what at the MCP, when is he moving the flaps ... and other strange things...)I wrote all that down into a timeline and then flew exactly according the numbers and compared airspeed, climbrate, aoa and so on... At landing I did the same...Well, what shall I say... I was absolutely running out of words... The differences where that small, that one could easily regard them as measurement mistakes. As far as manouverability, exactness of the FMC, speed- and wight calculation is concerned...In my opinion, the PMDG design is absolutely fantastic. And now tell me, am I busted?RGDSEnrico

Maybe they got their data from the same DVD, you used...:-hah :-hah :-hah :-hah:-outtaRegards, Roger
