TAKE OFF BEEPS

Featured Replies

Could this be due to low fuel -I seem to get a low fuel warning shortly after take off -wtih a suggestion to press Ctl X to correct.Or maybe incorrect trim setting - seems to be in the green area but not set as instructed to 5.5 -How, in simple terms, do you modify trim setting please??Bernie Lonnen :-lol

Takeoff horn will not sound for fuel. It sounds for:Incorrect TrimSpoilers DeployedFlaps not at least Flaps 1Something else I never remember :)To correct trim, use the 7 and 1 keys on your numpad with num lock on.

parking brake :(

LOL, yes the parking break. Thanks guys :)

Thaks for the info on trim control -why am i getting a low fuel message -i think i am activating all required pumps -or am i??Also where is the spoiler controlThanks Bernie

Spoiler is no the pedestel. Low fuel message comes up when the FMC thinks you don't have enough fuel to make the route of flight. Often times these messages come up during taxi and initial cruise, but the FMC gets smart and predicts fuel accuratly. If you use the wonderful fuel planner, and you fill the values out, be assured that the fuel indications are anomolous until cruise.

You can also use the Home and End keys to trim nose down and up respectively.David
