June 27, 200421 yr Today I started a flight with 737-800 as usually. I have been flying the plane since it was released and nothing like that has ever happened yet.I taxied to the runway, made all procedures correctly as always ( ;) ) regarding to the checklists I have and started my takeoff roll. It was a reduced takeoff with mode TO-1, also not first time. Then I retracted the gear after positive climb. Instantly the plane started to increase speed and it was increasing and increasing to somewhere around 900 knots indicated, everything started to vibrate and then sirens started, also the ENG FAIL texts appeared for both engines. Then some white smoke started to come out from both engines. My plane was like a rocket, it climbed and climbed towards the universe, just like a space shuttle LOL. Then, everything went like normal and speed started to decrease just as it would normally when plane is going straight up and power is idle :). Then I made an aerobatic maneuver to bring the bird to a controllable position and I did it. I had already "booked" all runways at EGLL in VATSIM for emergency landing and started visual approach. Strange that engines spooled up again automatically. Then, again, the plane started to increase speed dramatically and began to think that she is a rocket. Then I got the situation stabilized almost same way as before and finally managed to land it on 09L... :D. Whata H E L L was it?? Can I now expect it to happen next time too? :S I hope not. Maybe somebody has a logical explanation for this .P.S.Could somebody from PMDG tell me only this that will we be flying the 747 this summer? Thanks!
June 27, 200421 yr Disregard please. It was probably because of the activesky weather issue that crashes most FSs around the world right now! LOL. Hope that they will have it fixed soon.
June 27, 200421 yr Been using Activesky2004 since it came out, never had a Weather issue like that one. Although I've heard of others that have, including yourself. Strange.
