June 29, 200421 yr Hi, I just posted in the file library a freeware combo gauge for FS9 that helps for pushback/taxi speed hold, and has repeaters for aircraft weights (gross, payload, fuel and zero fuel) along with some other stuff. The pushback feature does let you set speed and adds pilot controlled steering via rudder (this is just so I can back my 737 into a hangar tail first). You can also practice parallel parking. :)http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...4gau&DLID=50153

Does it work correctly with rudder pedals, ie. has it been tested with rudder pedals? With another pushback/taxi app you have to set it up differently, depending on whether you are using pedals with graduated brakes (vs on/off brakes). I don't see anything specifically about this in the DOCs.* Orest Orest Skrypuch President & CEO, UVA www.united-virtual.com
July 1, 200421 yr >Hi, I just posted in the file library a freeware combo gauge>for FS9 that helps for pushback/taxi speed hold,I find one big problem with the gauge is that during taxi it would seem more logical to have a non-differential brake application cut the throttle temporarily, picking it back up when at least one rudder brake is let go.Otherwise, if try to slow down at a sharp corner or something, the engines gun to high revs. Not good etiquette, and not good on the brakes. If you are considering an update at some time, consider putting this on the list.Otherwise, quite nice. It is odd to see the aircraft respond to rudders during tug, but I love this feature. I have never been able to get the builtin pushback to turn properly.* Orest Orest Skrypuch President & CEO, UVA www.united-virtual.com
