Can't Install B1900D into FS9

Featured Replies

I have both FS2002 and FS9 on my system. Months ago I installed it into FS2002. Now when I try to install into FS9 I get an error "Can't open the aircraft.cfg file.I don't think my d/l is corrupt because it installed flawlessly into FS2002. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

Check and see if you have a backup aircraft.cfg. I know for a fact that the 737NG always back's it up, but don't know about the B1900. The file may be corrupt or have an error in it. You can also try emailing PMDG and see if they will send you a new aircraft.cfg file.Nick B.Continental Airlines 737NG Pilothttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg--AMD Athlon XP 3200+ @ 2.2 Ghz400W Power supply3x 80 mm Case FansSoyo VIA KT600 Dragon PlusnVidia GeForce FX 5200 128 mb2 x 512 PC400100 GB Western DigitalMicrosoft Sidewinder Precision 2

Hi Nick,It never gets that far. When I look the only folder in the aircraft directory is texture and nothing else. I'll e-mail support and see what they say. Thanks

If you still have the PMDG Installer, download the uninstaller from the PMDG website and reinstall it. If you don't, it's best to contact supportNick B.Continental Airlines 737NG Pilothttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg--AMD Athlon XP 3200+ @ 2.2 Ghz (Equal to 2.8 ghz)400W Power supply3x 80 mm Case FansSoyo VIA KT600 Dragon PlusnVidia GeForce FX 5200 128 mb2 x 512 PC400100 GB Western DigitalMicrosoft Sidewinder Precision 2

Ok, I'll try that, thanks

I just realized that the uninstaller is only for the 737NG (I always thought it was for both). You should skip my advice and contact support.Nick B.Continental Airlines 737NG Pilothttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg--AMD Athlon XP 3200+ @ 2.2 Ghz (Equal to 2.8 ghz)400W Power supply3x 80 mm Case FansSoyo VIA KT600 Dragon PlusnVidia GeForce FX 5200 128 mb2 x 512 PC400100 GB Western DigitalMicrosoft Sidewinder Precision 2

Well, they say it's a b@%ch to grow old. Short term memory, amongst other things. I was trying to use the United Express livery as the base installer, what a dummy. :+ Thanks for the replys, everything is working just fine now, I think.
