Unrealistic Engine Parameters

Featured Replies

Dear PMDG,I cant help but notice that all the engine data (N1, oil temp, vibration etc) seem to be identical for both engines. Im sure some of these values should not be identical for both engines in the real world, so why not just program a small +/- 1% variation for one of the engines values, to add much greater realism when looking at the engine data. Since the 747 is coming out shortly with four engines, it would seem even more unrealistic if all four engines behaved exactly identically. One thing I do love about the PSS A340 is the fact that all four engines behave differently and, consequently, it is much more of a pleasure to look at their engine data during the flight. With a bit more of engine variance maybe the virtual FADEC can do its job more effectively, ie trying to keep two similar engines behaving identically. As usual, many thanks for a fabulous aircraft.mcbootus,EGLL
