Air Cond warning light

Featured Replies

Hi Folks, I am looking for a little help and and explanation maybe for a little problem i have. Every time I start to descend my Air Cond warning light comes on( bottom right in warning lights panel). I am flying the PMDG 737-700 with version 1.4 installed. Could someone help me out please.RegardsDavid Bowen

Usually you will get that when you turn on your APU. Are you turning it on when you descend? Also, make sure all the "conditioning" equiptment is set right.Nick B.Continental Airlines 737NG Pilothttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg--AMD Athlon XP 3200+ @ 2.2 Ghz (Equal to 2.8 ghz)400W Power supply3x 80 mm Case FansSoyo VIA KT600 Dragon PlusnVidia GeForce FX 5200 128 mb2 x 512 PC400100 GB Western DigitalMicrosoft Sidewinder Precision 2

David, sounds to me that the cabin altitude setting is higher than your cruise level, this makes the warning light come on during descent.Next flight, set the cabin alt to the same as your cruise level, and see if it happens again.Another way out, if you`ve forgotten about cabin alt (And cruise at a lower level), is to reduce it to a lower setting than the altitude you`re descending through, and that will clear the alarm. When loading the aircraft, cabin alt defaults to 35000 feet (FL350).Cheers,Kjell

The Master Caution of AIRCON is to direct your attention to the AIRCON panel on the overhead. You will see that the OFF SCHED DES light is illuminated indicating that you have commenced DES before reaching your preset CRZ ALT in the Pressurisation control panel. This light will not affect the safety of the flight but the fix is to wind the CRZ ALT down in the pressurisation controller until it at least reaches your current altitude whereupon the light will extinguish.Geezer Guide is now available for PMDG at:http://homepage.powerup.com.au/~speedy/pmdgstuffRgds,
