July 20, 200421 yr I wish that in the future of PMDG they could incorporate two things:1. Executible downloads of all fixes and new A/C.2. A PMDG recommended 'Download Accelerator' for those of us who have 56k modems.Not too much to ask..Regards,JackKGSP

July 20, 200421 yr How about #2 then since 56k modem users will have to wait a year for a CD version without ....an approved....download accelerator from PMDG. This should somehow make it on one of the priority lists..Regards,jack
July 20, 200421 yr Jack,I've never had a problem downloading from PMDG's site with a 56K modem using Speedbit's Download Accelerator Plus. A perfectly workable version can be downloaded and used for free from their website: http://www.speedbit.comChris Kirk
July 20, 200421 yr Yes.......I think DAP does work with PMDG. Only, they don't recommend it because they cannot provide any support for any issues you may have with it. But most people I know have been able to use it to download the files.
July 20, 200421 yr Again, I agree.Waiting for a CD version is taking forever. As soon as it comes to CD it is old news and the 747 would be "it"...Not only for the slow connectors amongst us, but also for those unfortunate WITHOUT A CREDITCARD!!!I would love to see PMDG introduce a CD version at Simmarket or alternative ways to pay...(getting impatience here)!!!
