July 24, 200421 yr Gents,When approaching KMIA, and ordered to go to RW 9L, I tried to programm it in the FMC Dep/Arr button and guess what: KMIA has no approaches, no RW
July 24, 200421 yr Make sure the navdata is up do date (I think you have indicated it is), but what you didn't mention is your SID/STAR data. That is where the rws are listed, so make sure you have the most up to date version installed.
July 24, 200421 yr Your nav data may show 8L,9R,9-26R,26L,27. In FS9, KMIA is in the old runway config, still using 9L, 9R, 27L, 27R. When clrd to land on 9L select 8R and you will get down on the correct runway. Check some of the latest MIA charts and you'll see the diffrence :)AJ LongCEO - UKjetResearch and Marketing VP - Hyperion Airwayshttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpgVATSIM Miami ARTCC Air Traffic ControllerMicrosoft Windows XP Home Edition
July 24, 200421 yr The only thing that I have found that doesn't work correctly when you use the new Nav data at Miami is the ILS Frequencies which don't come up any more on the FMC. I think that Data is stored in FS9 and when the runway number ( 8L) for instance doesn't match 9L, it won't display the ILS Frequencies for the different runways, for your approach. Wish there was some way to fix that, but I just look them all up before hand on the FS9 GPS of another plane, and write them down.
