missing engine textures on 737-600

Recommended Posts

Guest haromo

Hello PMDG,After installing all the new updates I have the textures missing on the 737-600 engine covers when viewed in 2D wing view.VCCABIN wing view and the outside views are showing the textures OK.Don't have this problem on the other models.I noticed that in the 600 texture folder there's only one engine texture (engine_r_t.bmp) in the other models though I find two textures (pmdg_engine_L_t.bmp and pmdg_engine_r_t.bmp).Any suggestions?Regards,Haromo

I didn't read the hole post but I know the problem already....I'm a psychic. :( You need to read the README after installing the Model update. So I make a short manual for you. After Installing the model update navigate to you FS9 root directory, go to aircrafts and then the PMDG B736 main folder and you something like (see signature) "Run me after installing....", istall that and your aircraft works fine.Hope it helps.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/86354.jpg

Thanks for the reply.Didn't help though cause I had already done that.I installed everything again from scratch and as mentioned ALL is working fine except for the 600 liveries. What I find strange is the difference in engine texture files between the 600 (only 1)and the 700/800/900 series (2 with different names).I am wondering if nobody else has this problem? Please can I have an answer from PMDG?Regards,Haromo

Ok that didn't help. Maybe it's your graphic options. Check them out and let me know.

I kno w this is an old problem, but in the interest of "searchers" here's what I finally tried to day and fixed my problem .... its a missing bmp matter in my case ...Note: I had this problem myself only on the 600 and not the others ...I copied the pmdg_engine_L_t.bmp and the pmdg_engine_r_t.bmp from the ..AircraftPMDG737-700texture folder into the ..AircraftPMDG737-600texture folder aircraft and bingo ... my PMDG colours are back on the fuselage. The wings were unaffected (ie they were fine from the off)hope this helps ...Ronniehttp://ronnie.vandelaak.com/baw644.gif
