August 24, 200421 yr Sorry, I put that post up in a hurry. Hi guys, I usually fly the -700 series. I know that in the -700, the normal pitch attitude on a standard flaps 40 approach (everything by the numbers) is usually 2-2.5 degrees on the approach, and 3.5-4.5 on the flare. I was flying the -800 series just this morning and I noticed that on a normal "by the numbers" approach, I was flying at 0 degrees pitch up. Is that normal and just one of the few operational differences between the two?I also noticed that the -800 and -900 have some pretty high vref speeds for aircraft of their size, huh. :) Design, I guess?thanks gentlemen! (and ladies, if there are any here)mike
