Hello all, just had a problem with the FMC. When I am entering my route (KMDW-KBOS), I have a problem with the DEP/ARR page. When I typed KBOS for my dest airport in the RTE page, I get the error "Error at line 6", or something close to that effect. When I try to enter my arrival, there is nothing listed for KBOS. No runways, no STARs. I updated my AIRAC cycle to 0409, and downloaded the latest SID/STAR db (0408) from PMDG. Any suggestions? Dana Palmer.

Hi Dana. It sounds like you have a bad update. Delete all the files in the /PMDG/sidstars folder and unzip the 0409 cycle in there. Verify you have the files in the /pmdg/sidstars folder by opening one of them and verifying in the comments header that is it the 0409 cycle. If the 0409 cycle is not on the PMDG site yet you can get it on mine at http://home.sw.rr.com/filesherenow/index.html. Always use the same cycles IE in this case, the 0409 navdata and the 0409 PMDG procedures. If you don't sometimes that alone can cause problems because of navdata changes from one cycle to the next.RegardsTerry
