Yesterday, I was flying in the very windy conditions from ATL to a couple of airports in Florida. When I left ATL, ATC had the planes landing and Taking off on runways 26 and 27 and the wind was from the east at 20-25 knots. I tried to request another runway, but all the runways listed in the selection box were westbound. Hmmmm.., Oh well, I noticed all the other UT Traffic Landing and Taking off with the wind, so I figured " might as well give it a try" ( real life, no way).When I rotated my ground speed was over 170.... Anyone else had this happen?

The built-in ATC is ok, better than the previous version, but needs improvement. Runway selection and spacing is definitely not a forte (ie, use of parallel runways, and spacing arrival/departures).In particular if you use weather add-ons that confuse the ATC to no-end.Thankfully, your trusty online controller *should* be a little better at assigning runways for departure.Cheers,
