Saving NG737-6/700 Flights

Featured Replies

Friends - I read another thread somehwere around page 24 today about not being able to properly save flights when using PMDG NG73x.Is this true? If so, is there a workaround? If not, is it being treated as a potential fix? Thanks in advance, Chardy

You mean that not everything will be saved in mid-air, like the FMC and stuff like that? That's a problem with all add-ons. It's a FS problem, not a PMDG problem. It has always been a problem... There is some sort of workaround which requires you to load the flight and pause in order to set up all kinds of things, but there isn't a way (yet) to simply save a flight in mi-air and continue it with one click of the mouse.I have no problems at all when it comes to saving flights while still on the ground (cold and dark or not) but even then you have to swich some switches and press some buttons in order to get everyhting the way you want it. So, saving itself is no problem, setting everything up after loading again might be.I remember reading somewhere that maybe PMDG will find a way to deal with this and let us save flights in mid-air. If they can pull that off it would be an awesome achievement!

OK, thanks Jeroen, thought it might be the case. Oh well, I'll just save the inbound flight up a little higher than I usually do to give me enough time to recalibrate the NAVs, COMs, and what's left of the FMC.Thanks again!Chardy
