Great add-on to FS9 and PMDG

Featured Replies

I mentioned this on another thread dealing with PMDG sounds, since someone on the thread suggested checking out this add on. The one I downloaded last night, and then purchased after trying it, is called FSHOT FSX. It is a stripped down version of their combination FS audio add-on and Co-Pilot. I didn't want the CoPilot ( they only cause trouble anyway :) ) so I paid $17 for the sound only version. It is fantastic with PMDG and FS9. It does all the Ultimate Traffic or FS AI traffic with the sounds that those planes would make in landing, taking off and missed approaches including turbines spooling up on takeoff, reverser sound after landing, even the doppler effects on missed approaches. I sat on the runway at PBI this afternoon and watched the planes land and take off, with this program , it feels like your watching the real thing. Even does the tire chirp when the big jets land. There is a built in MP3 player that serves as a radio for long flights and many enhancements to the cockpit sounds as well. The one that really knocks me out is very realistic cockpit wind noise when you lower the landing gear on approach, from the nosegear door opening. If you want to add some real audio realism to PMDG and FS9,and AI traffic, you will love this program http://fshotseat.com/
