Solution: Update and error message with PMDG 737NG

Featured Replies

Hello :-wave,I installed the new patch for FS2004 and didn't encounter any problems so far, except that I got an error message from Flight Simulator after every attempt of starting a flight with any of the PMDG 737NG versions. There were no problems with the default aircraft. So here's my quite simple solution to solve that problem, unless someone else finds an easier one:First of all make a back up of your aircraft liveries and aircraft.cfg's in order not to loose them.Go to www.precisionmanuals.com and get the removal tool form their Download section under "Miscellaneous Files". Run PMDG_737_REMOVE.EXE.Now install all the 737NG files again and you shouldn't get the error message when starting a flight with the PMDG 737NG.I know this is not the best way how to do it but in my opinion still better that reinstalling the whole Flight Simulator again.Better ways on how to solve that problem are welcome! :-)Greetings and excuse my bad english,

Christian
