Country letters for tail numbers

Hi All,Had a friend who is painting aircraft ask me a question today that I couldn't answer. I feel a bit foolish, after flying all these years, but I didn't know the answer.The United States uses N in the tail numbers, but what does Mexico and Guatemala use for their registry?
