November 7, 200421 yr Hi I have recently purchased Build 2.1 and am completely confused as to how I Export a flight plan to my 737 NG FMC. My system uses Windows XP and I have FS9. A step by step tuition would be appreciated. My aircraft include the 800 and 900 series. Before you ask, I have been on the Build 2.1 forum site and have had no takers! Thanks Marty
November 7, 200421 yr Hi Marty,Assuming you are referring to FSBuild here are some hints you may want to follow:1. Open FSBuild on the main screen on the left pane named "Folder items" click on "Options"2. you will be presented the export directories page. There you click on "Browse" FS2000/02/04 and point to your FS folder3. at the bottom of the export directory page click on the "Settings" tab4. the previous action opens the setting page here scroll down until you see "export to" and check PMDG 737NGYou are done. Hit the save config option button, close FSBuild and restart. Next time you create a flight plan it will be exported to your YOUR DRIVE:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9PMDGFLIGHTPLANS folder. You may want to be sure that the latest Airac available is installed (you can download it either from the FSBuild website or NavData). Don't forget once installed to go to the navdata page of the option folder and to create the FSBuild2 Navdata index. The FSBuild tutorial/manual is also an excellent source of information.I am sure there are numerous threads about this subject in this forum as well as in the FSBuild forum. If you need more info do a search using the keyword FSBuild in this forum and the keyword PMDG in the FSBuild forum.Hope this helpCheersMichael
November 7, 200421 yr Just a quick addition. If you want to call up your flight plan on the FMC, go to the page on the FMC where there is a line that says "co route"DO NOT input any location data like airport, gate, runway, etc...Your FMC must be completely blank with no data on any page. In the "co route" line, input the flight plan as it was saved. For example, if I planned a flight from Brisbane to Sydney with FSBuild, the flight plan would be saved as YBBNYSSY.rte so I would input YBBNYSSY in the co route line.I got a bit lost myself on this one but found it through trial and error.Hope this helpsRegardsGoran
