wrong headings

Featured Replies

I thought I was a reasonably experienced sim pilot until last night. I have never encountered this anomaly before. All of my heading readings, including the compass showed me to be traveling in one direction - say east - and yet I know I was taking off into a setting sun on a runway heading of 250. My FS Nav showed me to be traveling west yet the heading was 180 out. This was in my 736 but it applied to all aircraft. Has anyone else experineced this? If so how do I cure it? I am not aware of making any changes to my set up that would cause this. My only remaining thought is to de-install/re-install but I am trying to avoid that.Paul F.

Hi Paul,I've noticed the several problems people are posting in this forum since the newest FSUIPC version was released (v3.41?). I am still flying with FSUIPC 3.40 running and everything works perfect. Perhaps this could be the cause of your problem. So try FSUIPC 3.40....Hope it helps.
